Street Team Management
Street Teams are the heart of any fan base. These folks will work merch, put up posters, pass out handbills, and tell all of their friends, family, and coworkers about how incredibly awesome your band is. And all for the price of a guest list spot or a t-shirt, usually. Good street team management leads to more word-of-mouth advertising, better promotions, and ultimately the kind of fan base that will sustain a band. At the same time, street teams are an amazing way to give back to your dedicated fans with contests, special concerts, exclusive merchandise, and nearly anything else you can think of. Street teams are one of the best ways to interact with fans and build a mutually beneficial relationship with listeners. If you think you can get by without a street team or some kind of fan management, you should probably get used to practicing in your mom’s garage. Some elements to street team management include:
